BLOCK-PRINTING WORKSHOP
BETHANY ANDREWS-NICHOLS OF BEENANZA® will share her collection of 100+ custom designed wooden blocks that were hand-carved in Bagru, India in partnership with Studio Bagru.
Guests will have the opportunity to print using an assortment of curated textile inks. Everyone is encouraged to BYOC (Bring Your Own Clothes) in an effort to increase awareness of the environmental impact of our consumption. Using the provided inks and blocks guests will get the chance to dabble in this ancient form of textile printing & restyle their clothes with Bethany to guide you along the way!
She will provide a block-print 101 demonstration and a short guide to printing pattern that will help guests feel inspired & excited about all the possibilities!
PRIVATE WORKSHOP DETAILS:
2 HR WORKSHOP @ THE SODA PLANT FOR UP TO 8 GUESTS
Beenanza will supply:
• a welcome e-mail with all the details for you to share with your group
• use of my custom wood-block collection
• textile printing inks in up to 4 colors
• 3 Fabric squares per person for practice
• one item to print per GUEST included (a cotton tote, dish towel, OR bandana)
• non-alcoholic drinks (ex. tea, coffee, seltzer, etc.)
Attendees will supply:
• “BYOC” pieces to print (we recommend no more than 3)
• an apron (optional)
Cancellation Policy:
You may request to cancel your workshop for a full refund of the deposit, up to 72 hours before the date and time of your event by e-mailing bethany@beenanzadesign.com. Workshops are always transferrable, e-mail bethany@beenanzadesign.com with name & contact information of the person who purchased your booking. Cancellation requests made within 72 hours of the class will forgo the deposit they made at the time of booking.
Postponement Policy:
In the unlikely event I am unable to host your workshop - I will communicate this as soon as possible with a new proposed date & time. If you are unable to attend the new date/time I will refund 100% of your ticket price.
